LCI, founded in 1979, is a privately owned full service landscape architectural firm specializing in public works, infrastructure, master planning, sustainability and campus projects. The firm employs a fulltime staff of 14. The licensed landscape architects are: Lynn Capouya, President, Jane Cataldo, Principal, Tim Mann, Principal and Gerry Ohta, Senior Landscape Architect.

Cal State Fullerton Parking Structure #4, Fullerton, Calif.
Lynn Capouya, Inc. worked with the Bomel/IPD design/build team to prepare the winning submittal for this competition. This project provided a 1,500 space, six-level parking structure, a pedestrian plaza and walkway, visitor information center and roadway modifications to Folino Drive. Key sustainable design measures included smart irrigation controllers, low-volume irrigation heads, drought-tolerant plants, permeable pavers, bioswales to reduce runoff, canopy shade trees to reduce heat island effect and relocating trees. International Parking Design, Irvine, Calif. was the architect. The prime contractor was Bomel Construction, Anaheim
Hills, Calif.

 

John Wayne Airport, Santa Ana, Calif.
Lynn Capouya, Inc. served as the landscape architect for the John Wayne Airport Terminal and other project segments in 1990. In 2006, LCI was selected as the landscape architect for the new Terminal C, parking structure C and the central plant and MacArthur Street entry. Although separate design packages, the plant material theme was acknowledged to complement and enhance the existing facilities. Plant materials were selected to reduce water consumption and maintenance.
