In the early 1990s, Nick DeLorenzo founded the firm to offer a diverse range of services. The firm has a staff of nine, including three principals/landscape architects (Nick DeLorenzo, ASLA, president, Michael Spohr, LEED AP, ASLA, and Michelle Landis, ASLA), and four designers. Project work encompasses landscape designs for parks, aquatic complexes, skate parks and extreme sports, residences, hiking and biking trail master plans, plus commercial projects like the International Gateway Retail Outlet at the border.

Eastlake Woods Clubhouse, Chula Vista, Calif.
What begain as a typical recreation center for an upscale community became an award-winning project after DeLorenzo Int’l. convinced the builder the neighborhood demanded something spectacular. DeLorenzo provided site planning, design concepts and landscape architectural designs for this beautiful Harold Misner-inspired 10,000 square foot building. It features a grand hall, pool, children’s pool, spas, a full demonstration kitchen, exercise and fitness rooms, outdoor rooms, patios and barbeque areas. The project won the 2004 City of Chula Vista Beautification Award.

1050 B Street Affordable Housing /Green Building High Rise, San Diego
Soaring 23 stories, this distinctive tower is the tallest building on the West Coast devoted entirely to meeting the rental needs of low-income families. The designs for the street level and the 7th and 9th floors provide over 4,000 sq. ft. of common areas, outdoor gathering spaces, tot lots and barbecue pits. Earning LEED Gold Certification, this atypical building won the Alonzo Award and the Building Industry Gold Nugget Award.
