Digital tools recently made available by the Propane Education & Research Council will help landscapers calculate how much money they can save by using propane instead of gasoline and diesel.

It's been well documented recently that based on the price of propane, professional landscapers can save money by switching their equipment to that fuel from gasoline or diesel. But how does one know how much those savings
might be?

To help with the answers, the Propane Education & Research Council has developed a suite of calculators including one for propane mowers and one for vehicles. To determine the savings, users can choose a web tool, a mobile app, a desktop tool or a printable worksheet. After inputting a few variables, the results are automatically calculated.

As PERC points out, there's no better way to make the case for propane than with hard numbers. The calculators are available here.
