WASINGTON ?EUR??,,????'??? Recently the Senate passed a bill that would improve the calculation of the Federal subsidy rate with respect to certain small business loans, and for other purposes. The bill, S. 141 was introduced on Jan. 10, was read twice, considered, read a third time and passed without amendment by Unanimous Consent. Sponsors of the bill included George Allen (R-VA), Robert Bennett (R-UT), Christopher Bond (R-MO), Conrad Burns (R-MT), and Michael Crapo (R-ID).
