What is one solution you've found to address a common pain point in your specialty?

"Research prior issues of my landscape architecture magazines. I always find something that I can utilize to solve a problem. Thank you."
David C., PLA, Florida

"The more information and pictures you put on your plan, the better the communication to the client or contractor, the better the final results on installation. Manufacturers need to go out, talk to arborists and contractors to be able to help educate the client and, more importantly, sell it! Because, if we don't sell it, nobody makes a living!"
David G., PLA, Utah

How have you seen park design evolve over your career?

"Too much hardscape today. As a former certified arborist, not enough attention to the needs of shade trees in seas of impervious heat islands. Excellent playground issue."
Edward P., PLA, Massachusetts

"Play and exercise equipment, access to the disabled, and better shade and pet accommodations."
Mary Jane C, North Carolina

How long have you been in the industry, and what is the biggest change you've seen in that time?

"36 years - SPRAWL."
Steve C., PLA, Pennsylvania

"Registered Landscape Architect since 1975. Hand drafting plans to doing everything by AutoCAD."
Howard C., PLA, North Carolina

"Over the years, your publication has made steady improvements. The only thing that might help sometimes might be drawings of plans and/or cross-sections."
William B., PLA, Mississippi

"I enjoy your publication immensely!"
Steven D., PLA, Florida
