William A. Behnke Graduated from Ohio State University in 1951 and became a designer and a project manager in the architectural field. In his career Behnke helped design and build the Dauch Memorial Park in Sandusky, Ohio, the Museum of Natural History in Cleveland, Ohio, and numerous more projects. Through his career Behnke has been recognized for his contributions to society with numerous and prestige awards. Such awards include the ALSA Distinguished service award in 1975 and 1976, the ASLA Professional Awards in Erie Island State Park, and more. Behnke was ultimate inducted to be a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
