Carlton T. Dodge graduated from SUNY in 1942 and Syracuse University in 1955. He has improved the landscaping community in the New York region by efficiently using the open space for buildings, parks, and more. He has also played an important role in the advancement of the ASLA as he was the president in 1965-1966. This lead to his induction as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1975.
