Forster Ndubisi is a scholar, outstanding educator, academic practitioner and administrator. He has been influential in advancing the art, science and craft of ecological design and planning. His role in finding interconnecting threads in the body of knowledge on sustainability led to the publishing of Ecological Planning in 2002. His three chief areas of interest have been the systematic examination of history, theory and ecological design and planning; the role that human experience and values play in community design; and regionalism as an intervention approach to rapid metropolitan expansion.
