Most notable professional accomplishments: Terry Boyle's leadership in resource planning, scenic assessment, and road corridor planning - and his ongoing local and state political involvement - has guided Vermont's development of high standards for scenic landscapes and rich, natural and cultural heritage. His detailed landscape classification and visual resource-analysis systems have resulted in many new practice areas for landscape architects and set a notable example for the profession. On being elected an ASLA Fellow, Boyle said, ''My mentor, Dan Kiley would be appalled!''
