Ignacio Bunster-Ossa, as an architecture graduate, was fascinated early in his career by the value of landscape design, he stands today as one of the most respected landscape architects in the United States, with a focus on public places and their integration into the urban realm. Among the many notable urban landscapes, new communities, university campuses, waterfronts, parks, and civic spaces that have benefited from his planning and landscape design expertise are the Georgetown Waterfront Park and Anacostia Waterfront in Washington; Nashville's Public Square; the Trinity River Corridor in Dallas; and Palisades Park in Santa Monica, Calif.
