Most notable professional accomplishments: Being part of 4 people with youthful idealistic enthusiasm and nothing more starting a landscape architectural firm. Process Oriented Design (POD) was created with a commitment to process and its relationship to excellence in design. Graduate school taught us that landscape architecture is about collaboration, a process that benefits from a multi-disciplinary approach to design. Design emerges from this process of inquiry, development of ideas with a multi-disciplinary team. Process was our mantra and continues with us as individuals today.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: I am honored to be recognized by this group of creative people. It is humbling to have been selected. As a Fellow it urges me to continue with greater effort toward the pursuit of design excellence.
