Most notable professional accomplishments: I used to think the significant things in my career were certain completed projects, and their moment of first use where one is delighted with the behavior of the user. I?EUR??,,????'???ve realized, though, that advancing the profession in Idaho, helping to secure the future for the next generation of LAs and doing the things that weren?EUR??,,????'???t done for my generation are very significant. I also believe my recent work with elementary school students as ?EUR??,,????'??LA Kids?EUR??,,????'?? and their introduction to landscape architecture may prove to be as meaningful in the long term.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: The challenging points of one?EUR??,,????'???s life make the successes seem much sweeter. This honor is confirmation that hard work counts as well as helping hands along the way. If one believes in the legend of Jacob?EUR??,,????'???s Ladder and helping hands along the way, then these people have certainly helped shape this outcome: William Snyder, James Kuska, Dan Morabito, Garrett Eckbo, Robert Woerner, Grant Jones, John Sterling, Greg Thomas, Paul Norberg, Ted Wirth, Dan Miller, Mike Potter, Carl Thuesen, Sandy Fischer, Doug Greiner, Jim Jensen, Lane Marshall, Dan Baird, Gregg Sturtevant, Mike Patano, Jim Christenson, Kevin Jester, John Evans, Scott Fisher, Gary Johnson, Keith Dixon, Stan Griswold, Deb Mitchell, Claire Bennett, Bill Thompson, Tom Dunbar, Bob Callans, Amy Schneckenburger, Elizabeth Fischer, Donald Leslie, Len Hopper, Rodney Swink, Paul Morris, Susan Jacobson, Patrick Miller, Dennis Carmichael, Patrick Caughey, Perry Howard, Steve Davidson, Don Brigham and Dell R. Hatch.
