Most notable professional accomplishments: What continues to inspire my work is exploring how design can create experientially rich settings for everyone. It is an expression of what I believe is our ?EUR??,,????'??right to nature,?EUR??,,????'?? regardless of ability or social means. My initial interest in healthcare and designing for special needs populations explored how nature can address the sense of isolation and vulnerability experienced in times of illness and crisis. The connection between access to nature and health applies to all our work, including large scale public and community health initiatives ?EUR??,,????'??? creating socially responsible, healthy places to live, to work, to learn, to play as well as to heal.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: It is an honor to be acknowledged by my peers ?EUR??,,????'??? and with it, a milestone. It gives me the opportunity to reflect on my work and set a course for the future.
