Most notable professional accomplishments: I consider my most significant accomplishment to be my work on the integration of scientific and technological innovations with superior design to create exceptional landscape architectural projects, achieving both design excellence and ecological sustainability. The following are examples of my work bringing scientific and technological innovations into the practice of landscape architecture:

Created technological innovations that are essential to solve complex design problems. This approach was best achieved in our team?EUR??,,????'???s restoration of the Great Lawn and Belvedere Lake in Central Park.

Created technological innovations in water management by combining rainwater harvesting, wastewater treatment, stormwater treatment, water recycling and water reuse. Some of our projects have been recognized as exemplary by the Sustainable Building Industry Council.

Employed forensic science to study ecologically damaged landscapes and natural resources through leading complex environmental investigations and expert witness work in federal court on behalf of the United States Department of Justice Environment & Natural Resources Division.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: Fellowship is a mark of recognition from one's peers, recognition that one's work is a worthy contribution to the profession and to the wider society.
