Most notable professional accomplishments:

My most significant accomplishment has to be listening to, and not losing sight of the advice and inspiration provided by several great individuals early in my career. The advice and direction I received from Jot Carpenter, Bill Swain, Lane Marshall, and my father has served me well through 34 years in the profession. Each of these individuals imparted great insight into what it meant to be a landscape architect, and the wonderful things that allowed you to do. While I don?EUR??,,????'???t feel there is any single accomplishment that ranks above others, there are several things that I am very proud of. They include - being part of the group that founded ASLA?EUR??,,????'???s Professional Practice Institute in the late 1970s, working to establish a practice law in Ohio; and being part of a successful private practice for 33 years.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: Becoming a Fellow means added responsibilities. The responsibility to be a more visible spokesman for the profession and the Society. It also means the responsibility of having to produce better quality projects. I don?EUR??,,????'???t view becoming a Fellow as an end, but merely the next step.
