  • Directing the ASLA award winning research and publication of five consecutive sand and gravel mining restoration projects at the University of Illinois, which initiated a new area of practice for landscape architects.
  • Organizing and conducting numerous student acclaimed regional field trips in the Midwest and overseas study programs in Mexico, Belgium, and Australia/New Zealand to expand students perspectives of our profession;
