Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture recognized excellence in teaching Land Form Design, site construction and site engineering to more than 3000 students at the University of Illinois and Michigan State University.

Directing the ASLA award winning research and publication of five consecutive sand and gravel mining restoration projects at the University of Illinois, which initiated a new area of practice for landscape architects.

Organizing and conducting numerous student acclaimed regional field trips in the Midwest and overseas study programs in Mexico, Belgium, and Australia/New Zealand to expand students perspectives of our profession;

Producing a Michigan chapter Award Publication ?EUR??,,????'??+ Land Form Designs with over 1000 hand-drawn illustrations of contour plans, sections and elevations.
