Most notable professional accomplishments:

I consider my most notable professional accomplishment to be providing leadership, motivation and mentoring to the many young landscape architects I have worked with over the years. Both in academic and professional practice settings I have had the great fortune to work with and help nurture many future?EUR??,,????'??+now present?EUR??,,????'??+talented practitioners. I believe in leadership by example and I do my best to practice what I preach. The significance comes through being able to contribute to the improvement of the quality of design and the environment?EUR??,,????'??+which is multiplied exponentially when you help others achieve the same goal.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: It means acknowledgement from my peers that my work is meaningful. It means taking on the responsibility for helping to advance the profession of landscape architecture through continuous leadership. It means a great deal to me because it places me in the company of people that I greatly admire and respect. I thank ASLA and my peers for acknowledging my efforts through this very important recognition.
