Most notable professional accomplishments:

This philosophy for everything I do as a Landscape Architect as it drives every project that I do; "I covet a reverent disposition toward the land and its resources, both existing and potential. I believe successful planning begins with professional humility and a willingness to stand humble before nature. My designs prove financially and spiritually rewarding to my clients, commanding a premium in the marketplace while inspiring all who experience them. My resilient visions resist popular trends while achieving timeless permanency. My conservative approach respects the land's natural character and human applications, unifying environmental sensitivity and project feasibility. May the evidence of my intervention respect always the balanced example set forth by nature." - The Golden Philosophy, J. K. Tiller

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: There is nothing more rewarding to any professional than to be recognized by ones' peers for his life's work. I have been honored to have the opportunity to work in an environment of great leaders in the development profession that have great vision for what people desire. I have been in the position to help make those visions into reality in the built environment without loss of that profound desire to fulfill my philosophy. Knowing, as I do, many of the recipients of the fellowship honor, I am humbled to stand with them in the profession as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
