Teaching

In the mid 1980?EUR??,,????'???s, McGlade, along with Ian McHarg, then the Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, created a course that required visiting many of the fine examples of landscape and garden design in the Philadelphia area to encourage students to step outside the classroom and experience their craft first-hand. In the mid 1990?EUR??,,????'???s, McGlade headed the Planting Design workshop at the University of Pennsylvania under Department Chair James Corner.
