Most notable professional accomplishments:

  • Engaging students in substantive community service means a great deal to me. The projects we undertake provide an important text for the students?EUR??,,????'??? learning as well as the foundation for my own scholarship. Teaching community members about design and working with them to envision and build new futures takes the students?EUR??,,????'??? learning beyond theory.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows:Working with so many creative people other, dedicated ASLA members and staff, my friends and colleagues at Kansas State University, our inspiring students, my very creative family and the many communities we serve, has shown me the power of collaboration. Election to the Council of Fellows is particularly meaningful to me because it honors all of those that I have worked with and the projects we?EUR??,,????'???ve undertaken.
