• As a landscape architect who works on many public sector projects, I can?EUR??,,????'???t help but expand the public?EUR??,,????'???s normally limited notion of what landscape architects do and our relevance to their daily lives. At a time when equal access to our courts, education, and health care is mostly about affluence and influence, the design and use of our public areas parks, plazas, open space and greenways, is truly one of the last democratic opportunities we all have.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows:This recognition is both humbling and gratifying. I am so grateful to all my mentors and colleagues from whom I have learned so much over the last thirty years. My accumulated expertise is the result of the many talented people who have taught me and with whom I have collaborated. I can only hope to continue to collaborate with similarly gifted professionals for another three decades.
