  • Each new project with its collective culture of professionals and clients represents the promise of my most significant work. While not diminishing the significance of past works and clients, as Phillip Johnson once said when asked the same question, the answer is, ''my next project.''

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows:It had never occurred to me that I would receive such an honor. My professional goal had always been to make a meaningful contribution to my community. I believe that my recognition as a Fellow bestows upon me a great responsibility to my peers and to the community at large to represent the profession of landscape architecture and to continue to innovate and strive for great ideas.
