Most notable professional accomplishments:

  • This obviously is for others to decide. I am proud of my service on the CLARB board of directors for nine years, my work with Connecticut ASLA, and being head of an award-winning design/build firm. Overall, however, I would like to think that my most notable accomplishment has been enlightening others to the virtues and value of landscape architecture over the years.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows:It is indeed an honor to be recognized by one's peers as having contributed significantly to the profession. As I compare myself to some truly great landscape architects who are Fellows, I realize that this really is more than an honor; it is a challenge to live up to the expectations of others and the need to strive even harder for excellence in my professional endeavors.
