• Forming my own business in 1981 and serving as the Ohio Chapter president in 1995 and 1996. The chapter was looking for someone with strong leadership and financial skills, along with the ability to plan a successful national conference.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows:The fact that my peers recognize me in a leadership role in landscape architecture is very gratifying. It means that the hard work I have put into the chapter over the years has not gone unnoticed. I recognize that becoming a Fellow is a team effort. There are a lot of other landscape architects who have helped support me over the years. I am deeply honored and very proud to be elected a Fellow.
