Most notable professional accomplishments: Although I feel my most significant accomplishments are still ahead of me, I am proud of my experience in public practice. Specifically, promoting an awareness of the landscape architecture profession by guiding growth management, urban design, historic preservation, environmental protection and administering consistency requirements at the local and regional levels over an extended period of time. My education and experience as a landscape architect have been instrumental for protecting the man-made and natural environments while promoting economic development and redevelopment. I have been recognized as a community leader utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: I appreciate the fact that I have been recognized by my peers and the profession. This is a positive reinforcement that the effort and vision that I have dedicated to advance landscape architecture as an interdisciplinary profession through my activities and public service have been worthwhile. It is an honor to be recognized for my contributions to protect and preserve the natural and man-made environments while promoting good growth, sensitive design and economic development. This acknowledgement provides me with a renewed inspiration to demonstrate dedication to the profession of landscape architecture. It stimulates me to continue to utilize my knowledge and skills to promote landscape architecture as a profession to solve community problems.
