Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: Landscape architecture is a stimulating and challenging profession because it draws from so many disciplines in the arts and sciences. I chose to focus on measuring the effects of forest vegetation on landscape perceptions at site and regional scales. To me this award acknowledges the breadth and scope of the profession.
