"Landscape Architecture...what a profession! As an 18-year old college freshman, I was excited to be introduced to the profession through a Landscape Architecture history course and thought I had "discovered" the perfect field, one that was wonderfully broad in scope and yet provided the tools to transform ideas into reality. A profession that prided itself of involvement with landscape architecture and Landscape Architects as a practitioner, educator, and administrator. My excitement and interest for the profession continues, every bit as much as that of a new freshman, largely because of what I see Landscape Architects accomplish. What greater accolade could a profession receive than that of being recognized for positively affecting the world."
