I visited Burle Marx at his estate near Rio de Janeiro on two trips to Brazil and returned two years ago for a third visit to what is now, after his death, a public site, the Sitio Roberto Burle Marx. It was inspiring to return to this site and realized how much his legacy lives on in the special landscape he developed. I encourage all Landscape Architects to visit this site to experience the work of this master Landscape Architect."
