Rodney L. Swink went to North Carolina State University graduated in 1973 and went on to get his masters in Landscape Architect. He was a huge help with servicing society and was able to get many awards. He was awarded the Downtown Goldsboro Dev Asson Achievement Award and Robert E. Stipe Professional Award. He was elected as a Fellow of the American Society if Landscape Architects in 1994.
