Leonard J. Hopper graduated from City College, New York in 1974 and Urban Landscape Architecture City University, New York in 1991. He followed up his education with a career in landscape architecture. He was then recognized with several awards for his success. Such awards include the ASLA Certificate of Appreciation in 1992 and the ASLA National Merit Award in 1988. This led to his induction as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1994.
