Peter J. Olin graduated from Cornell University in 1961 and the University of Massachusetts in 1971. He has been a major part in the Landscaping devision of the University of Massachusetts and the University of Minnesota. He was elected president of the Minnesota chapter in 1986 for his honorable work in the landscaping field. He has received the Grant, National Endowment for the Arts award from St. Croix River Environment in 1979, 1980 and 1981. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1993.
