P. Woodward Dike graduated from California State polytechnic University in 1965 and Claremont Graduate School in 1968. From there Dike went into a career of landscape architecture. He became very successful in landscape architecture and has been rewarded for his success several times. He has received the Sales & Marketing Council MAME Awards in 1979, the Model Complex Award in 1990, the Award-One Venture Building in 1991, and several more. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1993.
