Leslie A. Kerr graduated from The University of Minnesota in 1975. She followed up her education with a career in landscape architecture. She was then recognized with several awards for her success. Such awards include the ASLA Merit Award for academic success in 1975 and the Award of Excellence from the Society for Technical Communication Puget Sound Chapter in Alaska. This led to her induction as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1990.
