Howard E. Troller graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 1949 and 1950. He has been contributing to the landscaping industry through the architectural improvement of malls in the southern California region. He has been a recipient of several awards as an accolade to his career. Such awards include the Environmental Improvement Grand Awards from the UCLA Westwood Plaza South Mall in 1982 and many more. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1992.
