Barry W. Starke graduated from Harvard University in 1988 and University of California, Berkeley in 1967. He has aided the landscaping industry by excelling in his field of park restoration, design and analysis. His work has taken him all over the country and has also earned him many awards. His awards include the Design Award from Northern Virginia Community Appeal Alliance in 1988 and the Showplace Award from the National Stone Association in 1987 This lead to his induction as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1991.
