Cheryl Barton Graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1975 and also attended Boston Architectural Center Bucknell University. She was highly recognized for her service to society through architecture. She accomplished great feats that earned her several awards. In her career she was awarded the CCASLA Honor Award in 1990; National Endowment for the Arts Individual Project Fellowship in 1983; ASLA National Honor Award, 1981; Charles Eliot Traveling Fellowship and The Janet Darling Webel Award National. She was Ultimately inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1990.
