Jere S. French graduated from Washington University in 1951, Michigan State University in 1956, and California State University, Fullerton in 1970. He is an accomplished writer for the landscaping industry and has helped advance the field with his knowledge and teachings. He has been the recipient of landscaping awards including the Outstanding Professor, School of Environmental Design Award in 1985 and several more. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1986.
