Theodore D. Walker graduated from Utah State University in 1957 and the University of Illinois in 1967. He has been working with Purdue University to improve the knowledge of those involved in landscape architecture. He has also been a part of many projects ranging from hospitals to parks and much more. For his efforts in improve the landscaping industry, he has been the recipient of many awards including the Certificate of Special Recognition for Contributions to Landscape Education from the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture in 1980. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1985.
