Cameron R. J. Man was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1985. He was inducted as a result of his selfless acts of community service and his success as a school instructor. He has been recognized internationally for his efforts with Mississippi State as a professor and the head of the landscape architecture department. He was also elected as into the CELA academy of Fellows in 2006.
