John L. Wacker graduated from Heidelberg College, Botany in 1954, Michigan State University in 1957, and Harvard University, Graduate School of Design in 1958. he has provided his services and resources to help improve society and the landscaping community. he was rewarded for his efforts in 1969 when he was the recipient of the ASLA Certificate of Merit Award. Ultimately he was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1994.
