Evergreen Turf Recognized by Arizona?EUR??,,????'???s ALCA

Trucks from Arizona?EUR??,,????'???s Evergreen Turf helped deliver almost 40,000 square feet of the green stuff for a youth sports field this year.

The Arizona Landscape Contractors Association has honored Dave Thomas of Evergreen Turf in Tempe as associate member of the year. He was asked by the Arizona Cardinals to join the 2005 NFL/United Way Hometown Huddle to help local youths by building a sports field for the Salvation Army.

Not only did Evergreen Turf donate 39,000-square-feet of sod, Thomas also inspired other member businesses to donate products, services and labor.

This effort resulted in the transformation of a dirt lot into a beautiful multipurpose field that will have long-term positive effects on many kids, their families, and the community.
