Eichler to Florida ASLA Government Affairs Committee

Sharon Heal Eichler, a senior landscape architect with Wade Trim, was recently appointed to the government affairs committee for the American Society of Landscape Architects?EUR??,,????'??? (ASLA) Florida chapter (FASLA).

The FLASLA government affairs committee works to promote sustainable management of the state?EUR??,,????'???s natural and cultural resources within government and resource management agencies.

FLASA is also involved in grant programs to benefit landscape architecture students at three Florida universities, continuing ed seminars and cooperative programs with allied industry professionals and community service projects to benefit schools, parks and roadways.
FLASLA currently represents more than 900 members and has 11 sections across the state and Puerto Rico.

Ms. Eichler works in Wade Trim?EUR??,,????'???s municipal services group and has more than 25 years of experience in project planning and landscape architecture. She has been involved in all aspects of design for 120 projects throughout Florida. Established in 1926, Wade Trim provides engineering, planning, land development, landscape architecture and transportation services. It has five Florida offices and 13 out-of-state offices (N.C., Mich., Ohio, Ind., Neb. and Penn.).
