Educator Is Named First Woman Nursery Vice President




New vice president, Jan-Marie Traynor, of the New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Association, has 30 years experience in the classroom, chairs The Landscape and Horticultural Technology Department at CCM.

Township resident Jan-Marie Traynor, who chairs the County College of Morris?EUR??,,????'?????<

She is only the second woman to hold this position in the 95-year history of the association and the first educator to be elected as an officer.

In her role, Traynor will ensure that the state chapters and committees provide professional development opportunities for all members.

Founded in 1915, the organization represents landscape contractors, landscape designers, landscape maintenance contractors, retail garden centers, as well as wholesale production nurseries.
