The federal government?EUR??,,????'?????<????????????EUR??,,??s Economic Census is now showing up in 4.7 million mailboxes across the country. Close to 82,000 of those boxes belong to landscape businesses, the last available EC shows. Be sure to mail the form back ?EUR??,,????'?????<??????????? failure to do so could result in a $5,000 fine. The huge U.S. Census Bureau survey provides real benefits to the landscape industry. It reveals accurate statistics like the number of paid landscape workers and the number of firms of various sizes across the country. Detailed data can take more than four years to be released. The bureau releases the first data in 2009 (2 years is an eternity in the economy) but don?EUR??,,????'?????<????????????EUR??,,??t expect the county-level information until sometime in 2011, based on past performance.
