Clark Condon worked with the East Aldine Management District on the 61-acre civic space and community park. The campus is home to multiple civic buildings, educational facilities, and commercial development. The two-and-a-half-acre park serves as the core of the campus for the community to gather and provides a variety of flexible spaces for active and passive uses including, community events, festivals, art exhibits, movies, walk/running, and biking. Centrally nestled, it also features a bandstand and event lawn, playground with shade structure, interactive water play, and a custom-designed stream water feature that cascades toward the detention pond. In a historically underserved area, the new community space is a catalyst for future development and is essential to the community as it serves as a safe and inviting place to gather. The Town Center will also serve as a gateway and connection to Keith-Wiess Park, a nearly 500-acre park that preserves and enhances natural wooded areas and wildlife habitat while also providing important stormwater management for the area and recreation for the community.
