Earth Bud-Eze Offers Ergo-ToolsColor slide

MINNEAPOLIS - Earth Bud-Eze tool company has added ergonomically designed pruning saws, carpenter saws and shrub rakes to its popular tool line to make yardwork easier, quicker and safer. The company's patent-pending "leverage-enhanced" design combines a unique, near-vertical rubber hand grip with a lower arm cuff.

"In general, the best time to prune most trees and shrubs is during spring before growth begins, " said Patricia Greene, president and CEO of Earth Bud-Eze. "This is the same time that garden beds need a deep cleaning after winter -- not only for aesthetic reasons -- but also to save young plants from rotting. With all this repetitive work after a long winter spent indoors, muscles can become tired and sore very quickly. We created the saws and rake to...[reduce] the risk of carpal tunnel, tendinitis, and aggravated arthritis."

The new Earth Bud-Eze line includes:

-Shrub Rake: For cleaning out leaves that build up in hard-to-reach place. One hand rakes in a controlled motion, the other is free to move the plant aside.

-Pruning Saw: For cutting branches and shaping unwieldy trees with its "three-way shark teeth."

-Carpenter Saw: For slicing lumber with precision
