The community park is designed to hold larger sporting events while maintaining flexibility to function for many groups. The flex lawn supports both organized events such as soccer as well as daily play for the neighborhood. Teen areas and sport courts serve to provide play for multi-generational groups, and the park structure will facilitate both small and large group gatherings. Frequent seating along the park walk loop creates many opportunities for social interactions while staying distanced. Both parks have 100% native landscapes for water saving, supporting pollinators and bird species, and to promote the regional character of the landscape.
