The NWRI, a non-profit organization that sponsors projects/programs that focus on ensuring reliable sources of water, has announced a drought workshop.

The National Water Research Institute and the California Department of Water Resources will host a workshop, Drought Response, on November 13 - 14 at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine, Calif., from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This workshop will review and provide updates on drought planning, response, and mitigation measures. It is intended for water agencies and other public and local agencies involved in drought response and planning efforts.

Attendees will learn from diverse and interdisciplinary presenters, ranging from government agency staff, water and wastewater utility representatives, and university researchers.
