Dr. Robert Shutzki Receives L.C. Chadwick Award

The American Nursery and and Landscape Association (ANLA) presented Dr. Robert Shutzki of Michigan State University the LC Chadwick Award during its recent legislative conference in Washington, D.C. The annual award recognizes an outstanding horticultural educator that motivates students to pursue horticultural careers.

Dr. Shutzki received the President?EUR??,,????'???s award from the Metro Detroit Landscape Association in 1995 and was the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) ?EUR??,,????'??Member of the Year?EUR??,,????'?? in 1997. He has been involved with the MNLA for 16 years and is currently an advisor to the board. He is credited with writing language that was eventually included in a water conservation bill and advising on plant selection with regard to the emerald ash borer problem.
