Documentary Viewing Scheduled for TLE




The documentary Women in the Dirt will be shown continuously starting at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 12 at the 2011 Landscape Expo, Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, Calif. The film highlights the groundbreaking work of seven women in landscape architecture with the scope of work ranging from private homes to large public projects.

The National Association of Professional Women in Landscape (NAPWL) will host a viewing of the documentary Women in the Dirt during the 2011 Landscape Expo.

The documentary film by Carolann Stoney celebrates seven women who have paved the way for future landscape architects. Their projects combine awareness of architectural and landscape principles, concern with sustainability, safety and beauty. The scope of their work ranges from private homes to vast public projects.
